PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel estimation device capable of acquiring information as to whether or not alternate fuel is mixed into normal fuel without an alcohol concentration sensor. SOLUTION: The control device calculates required injection time InjT which is a required value of time when a fuel injection valve jets fuel per one combustion cycle according to an accelerator operation amount of a driver (S14), and injectable time InjMax in which injection can be executed per one combustion cycle on the basis of engine rotation speed (S15), and determines whether or not the required injection time InjT is longer than the injectable time InjMax (S16). When the required injection time InjT is positively determined to be longer than the injectable time InjMax, mixed fuel (alcohol, for instance) other than normal fuel (gasoline, for instance) is estimated to be mixed into fuel in the fuel tank.
