Method of obtaining profiled iron, at which the plastic metal deformation is achieved not less than two times at a temperature not lower than the temperature of the lower critical point of phase transformations, with partial reduction not less than 0,10 in the pairs of calibers, where the first caliber is layered, and the second caliber is edge caliber of simple form. In this case, in the layered calibers a rectangular or close to rectangular section is produced with a bending deflection in the described rectangle, which does not exceed 0,25 ofthe size along the minor axis and 0,15 of size along the larger axis of rectangle. The curves of rectangle on the angles do not exceed 0,4 of its size along the minor axis, with partial or summary relative deformation not less than 0,25 prior to the change in its direction. The further cooling is accomplished into in any of cooling media at a speednot of less than 1,5 DEGREE C/min. up to the temperature of the completion of the structural transformations. Rolling in the edge calibers is carried out during displacement of the caliber passes relative to each other along the axis of the shafts at a distance of 0.05... 0.20 of pass width.
