A display unit and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to suppress transmission delay of a signal or distortion of a signal waveform. A plurality of wirings, a thin film transistor and a display device are arranged in an insulating substrate. The plurality of wirings are extended to the different direction. At least one of the plurality of wirings is a divided wiring with a crossing portion(160) and a main portion(170). The main portion is electrically connected to the crossing portion through a conductive connection unit(180) of the insulating film. At least one of the main portion and the crossing portion includes a first layer and a second layer. The first layer and the second layer are successively laminated from an insulating substrate. The second layer is directly contacted with the first layer. The second layer is made of the material with the melting point higher than the first layer.
