<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize mutual adaptation interacting with each other in a man-machine system and become applicable in an actual site of assisting walking. <P>SOLUTION: The subject walking assisting system is provided with a sensor part 2 detecting a movement rhythm of a walker, a record part 33 recording a measured value of the movement rhythm detected by the sensor part 2, a target setting part setting a target value related to the movement rhythm of the walker, a timing generation part 36 generating a timing signal based on a difference between the measured value and the target value, and a stimulus generation part 4 generating a rhythm stimulus recognizable by the walker based on the timing signal generated by the timing generation part 36. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
