<p>A braiding bobbin (10) has shaft (50), spool (20), at least one torsion spring (60) and brake (70). A fiber thread (30) can be drawn off the spool through a thread guide (40) at state spool is mounted to rotate on the shaft. The torsion spring joins the shaft and spool to each other. The spool can rotate in draw-off direction against the spring force and in opposite, back-winding direction by the spring force of the torsion spring. The brake has adjustable braking torque to brake rotation of the shaft in the draw-off direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for drawing off fiber thread from spool of braiding bobbin.</p> |
