Disclosed is a dual-power energy-saving system for a rubber tyred gantry crane (RTG), the system comprising a system controller (1), a battery pack and management system (2), a generator unit (3), a unidirectional DC/AC inverter power supply (4), a unidirectional DC/DC direct current power supply (5), and an auxiliary transformer (6). Both the battery pack and the generator unit may independently support an RTG operation, forming a dual-power system, and increasing device reliability. The RTG takes the battery pack as a primary power source, and output power matches required power to a high degree, increasing energy efficiency. When the power of the battery pack is high, the generator unit is shut down and power is provided by the battery pack, and when the power of the battery pack is low, the generator unit is started up to provide power directly to the RTG, and surplus energy charges the battery pack. |
