PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sugar-pickled food containing sugar alcohol containing sugar alcohol, characterized in that an inside has a new texture of juicy inside, although a surface layer has a crunch feel and a texture of a fine grain feeling of crystals therein or a low sugar (sugar reducing).SOLUTION: Disclosed are: a sugar-dipped vegetable food, in which 50% or more of sugar contained in a sugar-pickled food is sugar alcohol, and in which maltitol is contained in 95% or more in the sugar-alcohol; a dipping liquid for use in the food; and a method for manufacturing the vegetable food.SELECTED DRAWING: None
