PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cultivating Lithospermum erythrohizon which is capable of increasing a survival rate of Lithospermum erythrohizon, and increasing the content of active ingredient.SOLUTION: A method for cultivating Lithospermum erythrohizon which is a first embodiment of the present invention comprises: a sowing process of sowing seeds of Lithospermum erythrohizon; a seedling raising process of raising seedlings; and a cylinder cultivation process of raising Lithospermum erythrohizon by cylindrical bodies for cultivation. In the sowing process of sowing seeds of Lithospermum erythrohizon, culture soil in which Arbuscular mycorrhizal spores are mixed is used. Commercially available microorganism materials can be used as Arbuscular mycorrhizal spores to be mixed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
