A storage partition method and terminal. The storage partition method is applied in an embedded multi media card (EMMC)-containing terminal. The EMMC comprises a controller and a storage medium. The controller has a partition register. The storage medium comprises at least two mutually independent system operation partitions, obtained by the controller partitioning the storage medium of the EMMC according to a preset configuration of the partition register. The storage partition method comprises: when the terminal is in a power-on state, only activating a first system operation partition of the at least two mutually independent system operation partitions without data interaction occurring between the first system operation partition and the other non-activated system operation partition (201); accessing, by the terminal, data on the first system operation partition (202). In the invention, different requirements of users can be satisfied by a single EMMC in the terminal, thereby reducing cost, and the invention has a simple and flexible design. |
