The present invention performs steps in which: a portable terminal (4) displays connection information, for allowing an installed terminal (2) and the portable terminal (4) to be capable of communication together, upon a second display surface (40); the installed terminal (2) reads connection information, which has been displayed upon the second display surface (40) of the portable terminal (4), which has been disposed upon the first display surface (20) so that the second display surface (40) faces the first display surface (20), by way of a reader unit so as to acquire the connection information; the installed terminal (2), using the connection information, establishes a connection with the portable terminal (4); the installed terminal (2) displays, on the display surface (20), an operation image (200) for operating the portable terminal (4) using the display surface (20); the installed terminal (2) detects an operation with respect to the operation image (200) by way of an operation detection unit, and transmits a processing instruction, for performing processing corresponding to the detection result, to the portable terminal (4); and the portable terminal (4) performs processing corresponding to the processing instruction. |
