PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving terminal and a video viewing system that do not significantly detract from the quality of both services even when simultaneously using video viewing and a web service in a multi-window environment.SOLUTION: A receiving terminal 1 simultaneously uses video viewing and a web service. The receiving terminal 1 comprises: an adaptive control unit 14 for controlling adaptive streaming during video viewing; a band control unit 12 for calculating band control information to limit a band to use the web when the amount of buffer held by adaptive streaming by the adaptive control unit 14 is a threshold value or less; and a communication unit 11 for transmitting the band control information calculated by the band control unit 12 to a web server 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
