PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a construction method of an underground structure (SFT construction method) in which a box-shaped roof is press-fitted and then soil is extruded together with the box-shaped roof along with the driving of a concrete box body, and eliminate the need to extrude the soil but instead treat the soil, thereby making a driving or a traction facility smaller, the construction method being applicable to an underground structure having a large cross-section and being long in length also.SOLUTION: Friction cutter plates 14 and 14' are overlapped and disposed on both sides of a box-shaped roof 4. The box-shaped roof 4 is extruded along with driving or traction of a concrete box body 5. The friction cutter plates 14 and 14' are left in place as the box-shaped roof 4 is extruded along with the driving or traction of the concrete box body 5. Thus, the box-shaped roof 4 and the concrete box body 5 are cut away from sediment in a surrounding at an edge, and sediment 22 is taken into the concrete box body 5 along with the friction cutter plate 14'.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
