PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control apparatus capable of realizing excellent subject tracking in accordance with a photographing condition.SOLUTION: THere is provided a control apparatus that tracks a subject by controlling a correction lens 114 so that the subject moves to a target position of a photographing image. The control apparatus performs a feedback control to make a finite difference between a subject position in the photographing image and a target position of the subject small. The control apparatus detects a photographing condition and changes a degree of tracking of the subject by changing a control gain in the feedback control on the basis of the detected photographing condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
