1523312 Texturing yarn BAYER AG 30 Oct 1975 [4 Jan 1975] 44913/75 Heading D1F In texturing thermoplastic synthetic yarn, the unstretched or partially stretched yarn is interlaced, and is then false-twist textured while being simultaneously drawn. The yarn may be heated during drawing. The interlacing may be effected by an air nozzle, Fig. 2, and may produce 100 to 1000 entanglements per metre in the yarn. The interlacing device may be located adjacent a spinneret, and the interlaced yarn may be wound up before texturing. The textured yarn may be oiled and heated after texturing. A yarn brake may be located before the interlacing device. The texturing of polyamide yarn is exemplified.
