The device has chains (17) that circulate inside two guiding paths (A, B). The paths are constituted by U sections and oriented towards each other according to an arrangement symmetric with respect to a vertical symmetric plane (P) of two rows. Each chain allows to drive and carry endless bunch carrying carriages and clamp pieces (19). The carriages are distributed along the length of the chains.
