PURPOSE:To correctly decide the adhering state of a linear by receiving the ultraviolet ray of a prescribed wavelength area included in the reflected light of light from the liner and a case, and applying threshold processing to the strength signal of the ultraviolet ray. CONSTITUTION:The light including the ultraviolet ray is emitted from a light source 1 and this light is projected on a case half on which the liner 2 adheres. The reflected light from a part on which the linear 2 which does not adhere of the linear 2 and the case half 3 passes through an ultraviolet ray transmission filter 4 and is received to a camera 5 in which a CCD light receiving element having sensitivity for the ultraviolet ray is incorporated. A photoelectrically transferred picture signal by the CCD light receiving element of the camera 5 is inputted to a picture processing part 6 to apply the threshold processing. Further, a prescribed Arithmetic processing is applied to this processing result to decide the quality of the adhering state of the liner. Accordingly, since the influence due to noise is not received, the adhering state of the liner can be correctly decided.
