PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of an ink received per unit area and enable high-quality recording with favorable fixing properties by jetting liquid droplets at intervals equal to 1/N times the pitch of recording units, and composing one recording unit of N<2> liquid droplets. CONSTITUTION:A head capable of jetting liquid droplets in a density equal to N times that of recording units in one direction is used, and one recording unit is composed of N<2> dots. For instance, only such a setting that N=2, an extremely great effect can be obtained on reducing the height of an ink in a cylinder model, thereby a fixing time is markedly shortened, and a better dot shape is obtained. Thus, by the reduction in the ink height, it is possible to shorten the fixing time and to achieve high-speed printing. In addition, the dot shape is made better, and a finer expression can be achieved because smaller dots are used, resulting in an enhanced printing quality. |
