Ground cable laying plough depth control - using pivoted sensor detecting position of plough blade mounting relative to ground surface

The depth control provides fully-automatic regulation of the ploughed depth on an uneven ground surface using a pivoted sensor (2) attached to the mounting (7) for the plough blade (1) providing its position relative to the ground detected surface (6). The detected position is fed to a hydraulic control device (4) controlling a setting cylinder (5) for regulating the plough blade depth. Pref. the position provided by the sensor (2) is fed to the hydraulic control device (4) via a coupling rod (3). ADVANTAGE - Maintains uniform plough depth.
