PURPOSE:To obtain the subject nonwoven fabric and fiber paper excellent in offset printability, and protected from being irregular and curled due to a solvent in offset printing ink in case of offset printing. CONSTITUTION:On 70g/m<2> of both inside and outside of a polyethylene spun bonded nonwoven fabric (commercial name, Luxer(R)) 5g/m<2> of a crosslinkable polyvinyl alcohol as barrier layers are and further a pigment coated layer essentially composed of an inorganic pigment and a binder are provided.
