PURPOSE:To obtain a three-dimensional image pickup even in a thin part into which a probe cannot be inserted, in an image pickup system for the inside of a minute tube. CONSTITUTION:In the ultrasonic device in which an ultrasonic transmitter/ receiver 1 in which the transmitting and receiving directions are varied by a signal frequency is provided in a catheter 2 and the advance direction of this catheter 2 is photographed, the ultrasonic transmitter/receiver is connected to a rotary shaft 3 and rotated centering around the center shaft of the catheter 2. The ultrasonic transmitter/receiver is constituted of an inverted/polarized array, provided with a rotation angle detector for detecting a rotation angle of the ultrasonic transmitter/receiver, and by photographing a B mode tomographic image in the advance direction of the catheter 2 with respect to plural pieces of rotation angles, a three-dimensional tomographic image pickup is executed from the inside of a minute tube 5. Accordingly, a front vision image pickup can be executed and a three-dimensional tomographic image can be obtained safely. |
