PURPOSE:To obtain a fine perovskite oxide powder excellent in sinterablity and capable of being sintered at low temp. without using any sintering aid by hydrolyzing a mixture of the metal alkoxides in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:In the A(B'1/3B''2/3)O3 perovskite oxide, B' is the alkoxides of Mg, Co, Ni, Zn and Ca, B'' is the alkoxides of Ta, Nb and Sb, and A is the alkoxides of Ba, Sr and Ca. When the oxides are produced, the alkoxide B' and alkoxide B'' are added to the alcohol in 1:2 molar ratio, heated and refluxed for about 10 hr to prepare the double alkoxide of B' and B''. The alkoxide A is added to this soln. in 3:1:2 molar rario of A:B':B'' and agitated to obtain a precursor. About 10 mols of water based on one mol of all the alkoxides is dripped into the precursor, heated and refluxed for about 5hr. The precipitate is filtered off and then dried to obtain the perovskite oxide powder. |
