<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of vibrational noise at the time of overlap feed of sheets by providing an energizing means for pressing hinge bearing parts, at a hinge connected part between an overlap feed preventing roller holding frame and a fixed frame. CONSTITUTION:Since an overlap feed preventing roller 6 normally receives strong rotational torque from a fixed position roller through one sheet, a rotational torque spring 24 is charged to energize a return rotating member 2 in a sheet feeding direction through a friction braking member 22. When two sheets are delivered, however, the rotational torque of the roller 6 received from the fixed position roller becomes weak by a slip between the sheets, so that the roller 6 is rotated in a sheet return direction by the previously charged torque spring 24. At this time, a compression spring 12 is provided at a hinge connected part between the holding frame 7 of the roller 6 and a fixed frame 1 so as to generate appropriate frictional resistance to the oscillation of the holding frame 7. With this constitution, even if the overlap feed of two sheets is generated, the generation of vibrational noise associated with this overlap feed is prevented.</p> |
