<p>PURPOSE:To wrap sufficiently a bottle wall into the lock part of a handle, eliminate deformation of the lock part and insufficient fitting of the handle, and obtain mount strength, by forming small recesses and projections on the surface of the lock part of the plastic handle, at least the part which is in contact with the bottle. CONSTITUTION:In a polyester bottle with a separate plastic handle 3 mounted on a handle mount recess 2 made in the main body 1 of the bottle, the handle 3 consists of a grip 31 and fitting parts 32 projecting laterally from both ends of the grip 31 and is U-shaped as a whole, and lock parts 4 are made at the front ends of the fitting parts 32, one lock part jutting upward and the other downward. Because small recesses and projections 5 are made at least on the surface of the handle, which is in contact with the bottle, near the lock parts 4, deformation of the handle and unsatisfactory fitting can be prevented, and practically sufficient strength for mounting the handle is obtained.
