PURPOSE: To provide an air conditioner in which the substantial simultaneous use of outdoor heat exchangers of different heat sources are performed without increasing the capacities of the exchangers. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner has a plurality of indoor units 9 connected to an outdoor unit 1 via a tube between units having a low-pressure gas tube 3, a high-pressure gas tube 5 and a liquid tube 7 to perform cooling, heating and cooling and heating mixed operation, and comprises a plurality of outdoor heat exchangers 11, 15 of different heat sources provided at the unit 1. The conditioner also comprises control means for selecting the single operation of the exchanger 11 of the same heat source or the simultaneous operation of the exchangers 11, 15 of different heat sources. The simultaneous operation of the outdoor heat exchangers of the different heat sources is performed to reduce the initial cost and the running cost. |
