<p>Colloidal SiO2 is used as reinforcing agent in keratinic material. Pref. the SiO2 forms 0.1-5 (1-2) wt. % of the compsn., and is a surface-treated SiO2 or a hydrophilic and/or hydrophobic pyrogenic SiO2. The compsn. contains a film-forming material and a solvent. The film-former is an alkyd, acrylic and/or vinyl resin, a polyurethane, a polyester, cellulose or a deriv., e.g. nitro-cellulose, and/or a condensate from HCHO and an aryl sulphonamide.</p> |
