摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain inkjet recording paper with high printing density and a sense of high gloss by preventing a failure (a streak failure, a crack, etc.) on film surface in concurrent application. <P>SOLUTION: This inkjet recording paper is characterized as follows: an outermost layer is formed by using a coating liquid containing a silica particulate wherein an average zeta potential is set at +50 mV or more at 25&deg;C; the silica particulate and at least one kind of water-soluble polyvalent metal compound are contained in the outermost layer and a layer adjacent to the outermost layer; a mass ratio, SiO<SB>2</SB>/MO<SB>x/2</SB>(wherein M represents an at least divalent metal in the water-soluble polyvalent metal compound, and x represents a valence of the metal M), is in the range of 50-200, when silica and the water-soluble polyvalent metal compound in the layer adjacent to the outermost layer are converted into an oxide; and the mass ratio between the silica and the water-soluble polyvalent metal compound in the outermost layer is smaller than the mass ratio in layers except the outermost layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
