<p>The bar screen (20) comprises a clamping member (30) which holds the downwardly extending legs (27) of individual bars (26) of the screen. A positioning bracket (72) mounts the clamping member (30) with a flange (56) which may be traversed by a screw and bolt arrangement such that the clamping member (30) may be adjusted in its lateral position.</p>
