PURPOSE:To obtain a matte film which is less sticky to the touch and suitable for a disposable diaper or the like by a method wherein fine irregularities are provided on the film by forming a large number of ununiform-shape fine irregularties on the surfaces of wires forming a wire gauze used for providing a predetermined shape on the film. CONSTITUTION:A shape corresponding to the configuration of a wire gauze 2 is provided to a thermoplastic film 7 placed on the upper surface of the wire gauze 2 by a suction force acting from under the wire gauze 2. In this case, the wire gauze 2 has a plain weave configuration made of wires 21, 22 in the warp and woof directions. On the surfaces of the respective wires 21, 22, a large number of ununiform-shape fine irregularitie 23 are formed. Fine irregularities 27 corresponding to the fine irregularities 23 are provided to the film 7 together with ribs 25, 26 corresponding to the wires 21, 22 of the wire gauze 2. In this manner, an external contact area of the film 7 can be reduced, and an irregular light reflection is increased. Therefore, a matte film which is less sticky to the touch and suitable for a disposable diaper or the like can be obtained. |
