PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the thickness of bag bodies variable and to easily constrain the motion of a lying human body by filling a fluid into multiple bag bodies formed hollow inside with a deformable material, communicating and connecting the bag bodies together with a flexible tube, and adjusting the fluid quantity between the bag bodies. SOLUTION: When a patient lying on an operating table is to be maintained at the lateral attitude with this attitude maintaining device 1, a bag body 2a is initially kept vacant, water is filled into a bag body 2b only, and a valve 5 in a connecting tube 4 is closed. The flat bag body 2a is inserted below the patient lifted slightly. The bag body 2b is located above, the valve 5 is opened, the water in the bag body 2b is moved into the bag body 2a through the tube 4, and the valve 5 is closed when the bag body 2a is expanded into the prescribed shape. Wall face-like portions are formed at both side sections of the patient by the bag body 2a, and the body position of the patient is held at this attitude. |
