PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile side impact air bag device with reduced weight with no foreign matter feeling on an occupant's back and easy to manufacture. SOLUTION: A housing 3 has a tubular side part 8 formed by an extruded molding. An air bag 1 and an inflator 4 are stored on the inside of this housing 3 which is locked to a seat back frame 20 at the car outside end of a seat. The side part 8 of the housing is provided with an unfolding part 12 constituted by a hook part 13 and a groove part 14, being free of engagement with each other, of the housing 3. |
