TOPOLOGY INFORMATION RETRIEVAL METHOD USING PATRICIA TREE IN ATM PNNI

摘要

PURPOSE: A method is provided to retrieve topology information by using a Practical Algorithm To Retrieve Information Coded In Alphanumeric(PATRICIA) tree in ATM PNNI(private network node interface) routing protocol. CONSTITUTION: An ATM node is prepared. The control process exchanges PTSP including topology information for a routing region where ATM node belongs. Thereafter, the PATRICIA tree is reconstructed. If the information for the node does not exist, the process updates new information which does not exist on the PATRICIA tree as new PTSE information in the PATRICIA tree.
