<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling embedded type air conditioner with an inexpensive vertical movement driver with a simple structure for a suction grille. <P>SOLUTION: Passing parts for suspension cords are provided at top face four corners of the suction grille, and a vertical movement motor winding up the suspension cords is attached to the top face of a decorative panel. In the suspension cord, one end is wound up by the vertical movement motor, and the other end is fixed to the decorative panel 6, and continuously passes through two adjacent passing parts for suspension cords of the suction grille along the way. By this, the vertical movement driver capable of easily maintaining the balance of the suction grille even if the suspension cords are elongated can be obtained by a simple constitution, and the inexpensive ceiling embedded type air conditioner with reduced in failure can be realized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
