<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integration method for piezoelectric elements for arranging a plurality of piezoelectric elements integratedly so that they may flex in equivalent configuration when external force works on them, and a power generating unit using the integration method. <P>SOLUTION: The power generating unit 10 possesses a wheel member 11 which has an inner ring member 21, an outer ring member 22, and a coupling member 23 for coupling them, a piezoelectric element 12 which is laid between the inner ring member 21 and the outer ring member 22, disc members 13a and 13b which are relatively rotatable with the wheel member 11, being arranged concentrically with a wheel member 11, and a plurality of pressing means 14 which are attached to the disc members 13a and 13b to be positioned on the same circumference. The wheel member 11 and the disc members 13a and 13b rotate relatively by external force working on the wheel member 11 or the disc members 13a and 13b, and the pressing member 14 bends the piezoelectric element 12 thereby generating power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
