PURPOSE: A smart phone is provided to convert a user interface screen of the smart phone into a cellular phone mode or a personal digital assistant(PDA) mode according to whether a stylus is set up. CONSTITUTION: If a stylus is set up in a stylus setup circuit(210), a recognizing switch in the stylus setup circuit(210) transmits a first interrupt signal of a stylus setup state to a microprocessor(220). By the first interrupt signal, the microprocessor(220) converts a display circuit(230) into a cellular phone mode through a screen converting circuit. The microprocessor(220) makes wireless communication performed through a communication module(240). A user performs an inputting process through a key, a touch screen or a microphone, and performs an outputting process through a liquid crystal display(LCD) or a speaker. If the stylus is not set up in the stylus setup circuit(210), the recognizing switch transmits a second interrupt signal of a stylus non-setup state to the microprocessor(220). By the second interrupt signal, the microprocessor(220) converts the display circuit(230) into a personal digital assistant(PDA) mode through the screen converting circuit. The microprocessor(220) performs functions of private information management, e-mail, address lists, time, web browser, facsimile, memorandum and scheduler through a PDA module(250).
