PURPOSE: A method for routing signal traffic in a No.7 signaling network is provided to use a signaling link determination history or signaling link determination data to determine a signaling link when more than two signaling links are available in a signaling link set of a signal route toward a specific incoming point from each signaling point of the No.7 signaling network, so as to distribute the signal traffic to every available signaling link to prevent the signal traffic from concentrating on a specific signaling link. CONSTITUTION: If a message transfer part(MTP) level2 for configuring a No.7 signaling network receives a signaling message from a pre-signaling point and transmits the signaling message to an MTP level3, a message discrimination block analyzes the signaling message to confirm whether a final termination of the message is a local termination. If so, the message is received in the message discrimination block. The message discrimination block supplies the message to a user through a user part(UP), and waits for another message. If the final termination is not the local termination, the message is transmitted to a message routing block. The message routing block routes the message to an adjacent signaling point, to transmit the message a final termination. The message routing block determines a signaling route according to a termination point of the message, by using a signaling link selection(SLS) of a routing table. The message routing block determines a signaling link in a signaling link set, by using a signaling link determination history and signaling link determination data. The message routing block updates the signaling link determination history and the signaling link determination data. The message routing block transmits the message through the determined signaling link.
