<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record information data in an optical disk without any overflowing omission of the information data stored in a buffer memory during calibration called OPC when the calibration called OPC is necessary to decide writing power in the optical disk during the recording of the information data in the optical disk. <P>SOLUTION: After the passage of fixed recording time of information data in an optical disk, or when the ambient temperature of an optical pickup increases by a fixed amount or more, the information data stored in a buffer memory are recorded at recording speed of at least double speed or more, and calibration called OPC for deciding writing power in the optical disk is carried out.
