<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide square-shaped storage battery having lower internal resistance, while attaining size reduction as compared with the conventional batteries. SOLUTION: A positive electrode terminal rod 43 is fastened in the state, being inserted from outside of the battery into the interior to be fixed to a projection 41 provided on surface of a sealing plate 20 via an insulated sealing material 42, and a plate connecting material 103a to the positive electrode has been connected to a flat face 43c of the positive electrode terminal rod. A gas exhaust part 30 has been constituted, in a manner such that a valve camber 33 is formed by a metal cap 32 that is attached so as to cover a gas inlet 31 formed on the sealing plate 20, and a resin material 34 made of EPDM (ethylene-propylene diene rubber) or the like is pressed, so as to cover the gas inlet 31.</p> |
