摘要 The measuring device (9) comprises a steam bell jar (10) with a compartment for saturated steam and a water inlet in its bottom side. The temperature sensor comprises a single thermocouple (11) with a warm wire extending into the saturated steam compartment and a cold wire lying outside the bell jar. A device for measuring the temperature of water flowing into the core (3) of a boiling-water-reactor (BWR) comprises a housing with an opening in its bottom side, and a temperature sensor. The housing comprises a steam bell jar for installing close to the core. The bell jar contains a compartment for saturated steam and its open bottom side is a water inlet. The temperature sensor comprises a single thermocouple. The warm wire extends into the saturated steam compartment and the cold wire lies outside the bell jar. Independent claims are also included for ; (1) A BWR-type reactor containing this measuring device; (2) A system for determining the flow rate of water into the core of a BWR-type reactor, comprising the above measuring device, sensors (40-42) for reactor pressure, supplied water flow rate and/or supplied water temperature, and a processor (12) for converting thermocouple and sensor signal data into a core water flow rate value; and (3) A BWR-type reactor containing this core water flow rate measuring system.
