<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe supply method of hydrogen to a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: This application provides a method for avoiding a risk such as explosion by hydrogen in the case that hydrogen or a gas containing hydrogen is leaked from a pipe or accumulated when hydrogen to a fuel cell is supplied by using the pipe. When a structure is composed such that the circumference of a supply pipe 1 for running gas containing hydrogen therethrough is surrounded by a non-sealed pipe 2 having a discharge tube 3, and a detection sensor 4 for a hydrogen concentration installed in the discharge tube 3 detects hydrogen higher in a certain concentration, an emergency shutoff device 5 installed in the pipe 1 is actuated to shut off the flow of the gas containing hydrogen and the leaked gas is discharged to an atmosphere having no ignition source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
