PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction structure of an opening cover of a charnel in a grave capable of surely keeping a closing state of the opening cover at ordinary times, opening the opening cover in the case of laying the ashes to rest or the like and simply preventing the ashes from being stolen. SOLUTION: The charnel 7 is formed downward from the ground surface over the lower part of the front of a gravestone 6 from the lower part of the gravestone 6, and in the grave having such a type that an opening section of the lower part of the front of the gravestone 6 is used for a charnel opening 7a, it is constituted of mounting members 20 installed on both sides of the upper surface of the charnel opening 7a, the cover 8 of the charnel opening having interlocking holes 8a in both sides corresponding to the mounting members 20 and interlocking members 21 capable of being engaged with/separated from the interlocking holes 8a in the both sides of the cover 8 and provided to the mounting members 20 in order to hold the cover 8 on the upper surface of the charnel opening 7a in the case of engagement.
