PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibody derived from a Gram positive bacterium and inhibiting the activity of a glycoconjugate having an immunological enhancement activity. SOLUTION: The antibody obtained by fractionating a cell extract prepared from the Gram positive bacterium and inhibiting the activity of the glycoconjugate having the immunological enhancement activity and using a glycoconjugate fraction as an antigen can inhibit the activity of the glycoconjugate derived from the Gram positive bacterium and having the immunological enhancement activity, and can be utilized for detection of the Gram positive bacterium, inspection of the infection with the Gram positive bacterium, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
