PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a suitable color conversion process in any of a color printing apparatus before change and after change when basic characteristics of a printing head of the color printing apparatus change. SOLUTION: In a color printing system which has both a printing controller for carrying out the color conversion process with reference to a look-up table, and the color printing apparatus equipped with the printing head for discharging ink, the printing controller is equipped with a plurality of the look-up tables corresponding to lots of the printing head set in the color printing apparatus, a means which acquires information for distinguishing the lot of the printing head from the color printing apparatus, and a means which judges on the basis of the acquired information with the use of which of the look-up tables the color conversion process is to be carried out.
