PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel-attachable/detachable garbage disposer which is small in size, and in which a large quantity of garbage can be treated, and the charge of garbage and discharge of treated garbage are facilitated without causing any problem that the inside of this machine gets dirty. SOLUTION: This garbage disposer is provided with: a garbage vessel 3 having a rotary cutter 4 on the inside; a housing 1 for detachably housing the garbage vessel 3 through an upper opening 2; a vessel rotary driving unit 24 arranged in the housing 1 for supporting/rotating the garbage vessel 3; a cutter rotary driving unit 10 connected to the rotary cutter 4 of the garbage vessel 3 for rotating the rotary cutter 4; and a microwave irradiation unit 26 which is parted from the garbage vessel 3 to be housed in the housing 1 and fixed in the housing 1.
