PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data repeater which detects the passage of a specific packet or a specific communication pattern. SOLUTION: The data repeater 1 allows monitoring conditions to be set up for monitoring the passage of a specific packet, monitors packets, on the basis of monitoring conditions, and, if detecting a packet meeting the setting, actuates a informing means to light e.g., an LED or produce a specific sound to inform a user that the specific packet has passed.
