An electron emission display (1) includes first (10) and second (12) substrates facing each other, electron emission regions (20) to emit electrons and formed on the first substrate (10), and driving electrodes (14) formed on the first substrate to use in the control of the emission of electrons from the electron emission regions (20). Phosphor layers (26) are formed on a surface of the second substrate (12). An anode electrode (30) is placed on a surface of the phosphor layers (26). Spacers (32) are mounted between the first and the second substrates. Antistatic electrodes (34) are placed over the first substrate (10) such that the antistatic electrodes (34) are insulated from the driving electrodes (14), and electrically connected to the spacers (32).
