摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low melting point brazing filler metal for an aluminum heat exchanger, the brazing filler metal which can materialize brazing by low temperature treatment, and allows the amount of use thereof to be reduced than before, and to provide a method for producing the aluminum heat exchanger using the same. SOLUTION: When the aluminum heat exchanger composed by joining a plurality of members made of an aluminum alloy is produced, the low melting point brazing filler metal is used for joining the plurality of members and contains a brazing filler metal component composed of zinc alloy particles with an average particle diameter of≤20μm and a flux component composed of noncorrosive flux particles with an average particle diameter of≤20μm. A blending ratio between the brazing filler metal component and the flux component is 0.6 to 2.0. The zinc alloy particles preferably comprises, by mass, 2 to 6% Al, and the balance Zn with inevitable impurities.
