PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic camera with interchangeable lenses which captures excellent images by using various interchangeable lenses at a variety of shooting angles without deteriorating user-friendliness. SOLUTION: The lens device is provided with: a lens means for focusing operations; an operating means for permitting/prohibiting focusing operations by a user; and a control means which controls to move the lens means for focusing to a focused point according to the operations of the operating means and the control signals from an imaging body for permitting/prohibiting focusing operations, respectively.
