A DC brushless motor has a rotor where a permanent magnet is fixed around a shaft and an armature where coils are disposed on the peripheral wall of a base seat surrounding the periphery of the rotor. The base seat has a body part surrounding the outer periphery of the permanent magnet and also has, at both ends, base parts having an outline smaller in diameter than the body part. The brush less motor is characterized in that hooking parts extending over the base parts are secured to the peripheral wall of the body part, and a gap capable of holding the coils is formed between each base part and each hooking part. The brushless motor can be minimized in the outer diameter, operated efficiently at high speed, and reduced in manufacturing cost.
|
