<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fine particle having therein a hydrophilic portion for efficiently enclosing a protein and improving stability in an organism and pharmacokinetics, and also to provide a method for producing a dispersion of the fine particle. <P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to the method for producing a hydrophilic active substance-containing fine particle which contains an amphipathic polymer, has a hydrophilic portion formed of a hydrophilic segment of the amphipathic polymer therein and is made up of a hydrophobic external layer formed of a hydrophobic segment of the amphipathic polymer, in which a surface modifier is combined to the hydrophobic external layer. The method comprises (a) a step of mixing an aqueous solvent containing the hydrophilic active substance with a water-immiscible organic solvent in which the amphipathic polymer is dissolved, to form a reversed phase emulsion, (b) a step of removing the solvent from the reversed phase emulsion to obtain a solid containing the hydrophilic active ingredient, and (c) a step of introducing the solid containing the hydrophilic active ingredient or a dispersion of the solid containing the hydrophilic active ingredient into a liquid phase containing a surface modifier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
