NAVIGATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SEARCHING GUIDE ROUTE PASSING PLURALITY OF LOCATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a plurality of locations one desires to visit including priorities such as the sequential order and order of precedence of locations to visit by searching guide routes through the use of an electronic pen and printed matter. SOLUTION: A portable input device 4 of a navigation system 1 reads a page of the printed matter 5 for specifying a plurality of locations to which one is to be guided and the precedence of the locations. A latitude/longitude generating means 134 generates latitude/longitude data 111 of each location specified at the portable input device 4 and usable in the navigation system 1. The precedence generating means relates precedence data 112 of the precedence specified by the electronic pen 4 to the latitude/longitude data 111 of each location. A guide route searching means 132 generates guide routes passing through the plurality of locations on the basis of a plurality of items of the latitude/longitude data 111 under the precedence by the precedence data 112 or verifies the execution of search of guide routes under the precedence on a screen in which the precedence can be revised.
